Hello! My name is Donatela Dekanić. I am a 22 year-old travel girl from a small European country, famous for its nature, sea, sand, sun, beaches, history, cuisine, culture, you name it, we have it! I’m sure a lot of you have already heard of this Gem of the Adriatic sea called Croatia! If you already haven’t visited, it should definitely be on your bucket list! It definitely is on mine (It’s hard to visit all of 1200 Islands + the coast + the continental part)!
The reason I started this blog was so that I could share all of my travel experiences and tips with my friends, family and all the fellow travel lovers. I had a lot of friends ask me for suggestions on places to visit, where to eat or what to do in different destinations. For this reason, I felt like this would be a nice way to share everything and have it all in one place. Let this travel girl show you the world trough her eyes.
WHY "TRAVEL GIVES ME BUTTERFLIES"
I don’t know how people usually come up with the perfect name for their blog, but I can only say that it’s not that easy! I started searching for some name inspirations but they weren’t of much help so I decided to try and think of something on my own. I wanted my blog name to be something I really liked and something unique, but since I didn’t have any good ideas I needed to find another approach.
I started thinking how does traveling make me feel and pretty soon I had the answer – it gives me butterflies in my stomach. Personally I don’t even have to go traveling to feel them, just talking about it makes me feel so happy and excited, even if I’m not the one going on the trip lol. Every time some of my friends tell me about going somewhere I get so excited for them just by imagining how they’re gonna have an amazing time! My goal is to share with you all the things that travel gives not only to me but to everyone who experiences it! I can’t wait to start this new adventure and share it with you! I guess this travel girl is becoming a travel blogger!
